Lizhong Alloy Group was founded in 1984, majored in R&D and manufacturing in foundry aluminium alloy & special extrusion aluminium alloy, which owns 11 subsidiaries with total 1800 employees and capacity of 800,000 tons and 5 companies passed the Specification for the Ministry of industry and information technology (recycled aluminum) Bulletin. The group has more than 200 alloy items in accordance with National Standard, American Standard, European Standard and Japanese Standard etc.

The group has three Provincial Engineering and Technological Research Center, one Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute, two Academician Workstation and one State Recognized Laboratory. It owns more than 200 advanced R&D and inspection instruments such as Industrial CT Machine, Scanning Electron Microscope. Lizhong Group established long and stable cooperation relationship with many famous academies and Scientific Research Institutions both at home and aboard, which undertook many Scientific Research Projects of national and provincial and acquired more than 100 international and national scientific payoffs & more than 200 national patents. Lizhong Group presided and participated many formulating and revision work of national & industrial standard for foundry aluminum alloy.
